Hey guys I am in process of having a 9" swapped in to replace the 8.8 in my Bronco, it is an '89. I am keeping the stock t-case for now it is a bw 1356 I believe. I really don't have the green after the swap and everything to go all out on drivelines. What do I need to use the driveline that was attached to the 9" that I pulled from the '78 bronco. I am pretty sure the yoke is going to need to be changed on the tcase, but to what?? Thanks.

when i swaped out the 8.8 to 9 inch on my bronco i just removed the flat flange from the u joint on the d shaft and the u joint mated up perfectly to the 9 inch yoke.

when I did mine, it 100% bolt in, from a 7X' ford into a 89' ford

I may be doing the same thing with my truck. I'm sick of the 8.8 giving me problems....

I did the same on my 89 F150 - Mine was out of a 78 F150... Everything bolted up, except i turned my spring mounts to make up for the 4" lift. Other then that, it all bolted up. Same joints. (Mine doesnt have the flanges tho)
