gas tank Q's

Hey all, 69 FJ40. running a big block...still building.

This is my 1st FJ, & I have the stock tank (that sits under pass seat). I am guessing that bobbing around in the woods, gets the thing smelling like fuel, so do you all just go fuel cell, or is there an easy, low profile tank that can sit under.

I am thinking a CRX tank, but instead of reinventing the wheel, I thought I would ask. it seems I have plenty of room (spring over & 4" chevy lift springs, tub stock frame mounts) as to not get hit by the diff, or really anything else.

I would like to go underside, as I will have 2 bucket seats (out of CRX acrually) in the back, & will not have much extra room for clothes, beer, food, beer, anything else, & well....beer LOL

so, what did y'all do with yer tanks?

Hey Basspro, this section is for the 2007 up "FJ cruiser", you might have seen one on the road allready. Try posting this in the "toyota land cruiser talk" section for some better responces.
BTW, there is a thread (in the cruiser section) about using an s10 or s15 jimmy tank under the bed behind the rear axle if you search.
