I have a small window of opportunity. Ive been talking to a shop that is almost certain they will have a (used) complete 4" Pro Comp lift for me next week for $300- $400. There's another guy with a (used) complete 4" SuperLift for $500.

Is the SuperLift worth the extra money? Should I just go for the sure deal? What is a realist dollar amount to offer the guy with the SuperLift?

Thanks

(P.S. This is for my CrewCab PowerStroke)

As a general rule, Pro-Crap puts as little time, money and engineering into their lifts as possible, no matter what 4WPW might like you to believe. The Superlift is worth the extra money.

Ronman....

F250 or F350?? what year?? I have a 97 F250 C/C Powerstroke with a 4 inch Superlift kit and am about to replace my Front Leaf springs for the 3rd time in 18 months... I have had nothing but trouble out of this lift. I also Hate the IFS front end and will be buying a straight front axle for a conversion.... I say save your money and buy a straight axle if its IFS and if its already a straight axle then buy something other than a SUPERLIFT kit... the leaf springs are the same part number for F250 as F350 so what does that tell you? Keep lookin...

Good luck let us know what you did...

Its a (early) 99 PSD CrewCab.

I bought the Superlift. I may have made a mistake. The blocks for the back and the Ubolts are wrong. I think the guy who did the work for the seller might have tried to screw him. What I got from him is a set of 4" blocks with some stock ubolts. (He doesnt have overloads so they are even shorter than the ones I have). From what Superlift tells me the rear blocks that come with the kit are only 2 1/2" to level the back out. So far all I have is a set of leaf springs and some shocks.

The seller is a nice guy and on the up and up. He has already promised to get me the right parts or give me all my money back. Sucks though, I really wanted to have my truck done by now.
