ive got a 5.0l out of a 95 mustang gt, and ive got bad vibrations, i didnt buy the flywheel,so im not surewhich one is on it, ive been told there are 2 weights, 28oz and 50. ive been told i need the 50, but im wondering if a mustang 5.0 flywheel will work with t he np435 or if ive gotta track one down off of a truck? either the flywheel, or harmonic balancer,or the engine is just running so shitty it vibrates like crazy, im not sure, but gotta start somewhere.

if everything else is already together (pressure plate, clutch realease mechanism, starter, etc. ) i would consider having it match balanced.
I have a crown victoria motor that came with an auto (50 oz imbalance flex plate) and a t19. Used a ford f150 bellhousing, an early bronco starter and flywhweel (not 100% sure of it's origin but it's 28 oz imbalance) and had the flywheel match balaced to the 50 oz imbalance.
Any good automotive machine shop should be able to do it and the guy told me it was so easy to do that he couldn't charge me anything over 40 after an initial est of 70. Maybe worth looking into?

It will, but you will need to find a smaller bellhousing for it for the 10 inch clutch. I have no idea where you would find something like that...maybe a earlier mustang or something...At any rate, you want a the bigger bellhousing so you can have the bigger clutch and flywheel for two reasons, first more contact area for the clutch and secondly the biggerm, heavier flywheel will help you will stalling it. What you need to do is get a bellhousing from a late model f-150 or 250(small block motor 4.9 5.0 351) becuase this will have a external slave already there for you. then go buy a flywheel (50 bucks) new from an autoparts store 50 oz from a 81 and new f-150..Then you will need a starter, (70-170 bucks) depending on what year you want. The older use a starter relay on the firewall and are cheaper, the newer use a silonoid on the starter...more expensive...Good luck....
