Alright...I can't believe I didn't do this earlier, but I've finally plunked down the $ for a JD2 model 3 bender with a 1.75 x 6.5" radius die...O'yea I bought their bitchen tubing notcher too. I guess those fancy shmancy MasterCraft seats' will have to wait for a while.

Now I don't have to bribe the local exhaust guy's with Bud lite 12er's anymore....Should make the process much smoother now.

Now the question is can I get 3 sticks of 1.75" DOM on top of my Suburban...Or should I just hook up the trailer? :flipoff2: Seriously I think I can strap-um down on the “roof rack”…But…

Great stuff Doug on the bender. Just think of the possibilities. :D I read a really good write up on how to do stuff with the that bender somewhere (on how to measure lengths and position of bends etc to get the exact shape that you want) cause apparently its a bit on an art. But the write up had a really good simple way to do the measurements. Might be on Pirate tech.

Yup...In the tech section...Read it a couple of times now! Fortunately for this run, a couple of 120's, 45's and 90's all in single plane is all I'm "needing" for bends right now. Once I get comfortable, the single seater buggy is gonna' start taking shape...Gulp...Did I just say that?
