I am going to NJ to pick up a 1990 F350. Its the Crew Cab Long Bed (IE 4 door). I need to know the wheel base and overall length (bumper to bumper) on this thing. Will be trailering it home. I haven't been able to find the specs on the length of this fucker. We have an 18' trailer, and as long as the wheels will be on the trailer, we're good to go. Still have a foot in the front and about 3.5' in the rear to let hang over either end lol.

I think it is about 172" wb and 20' 8" total length.
I moved a Chevy ext cab lb on a 14ft. trailer, the tires barely fit. I think the cc wb is less then 6" diff., so it should fit on an 18 ft no problem.
I thought the same thing, "as long as the tires fit its no problem."
Without any room to move the truck forward or backwards to balance the load, the tongue weight was screwed.
I only was going 60 miles, and it was about 3AM on a small highway, if I had to take that thing on the freeway for a long time, it would have been a long drive.

I hear that. Its going to be a long drive for 2 reasons... A. I live in west central Indiana (read about 1500 mile round trip), and B. the guy who is going with me has a really dry sense of humor. Great guy though, definantly goes in my good people category. I called him at 12am yesterday and asked him if he wanted to go to NJ to pick up a truck, and he didn't even hesitate, he said "Sure, get ahold of the guy and I will get the trailer and truck." I'm paying for fuel, but thats NBD really.

IT should be right around 170 WB and 260 OAL, depending on what rear bumper it has.

Wheelbase is 168.4", oal is 248.7, according to the Ford body builders guide. Should be doable without too much excitement on an 18' deck.

It will fit but it depends on how the ramps are flip up or slide under. I have a 18 deck over w/flip up ramps I hauled a crew cab long bed 4x4 350 on mine had to remove the ramp to haul it.
