Pic for Ryan

He had to do that t-case drop because of the 4.5" SOA right? DO you know his shaft angle? I'm just curious because I just did 44044s SOA and had to loose the flat skid and get a stock one due to the rear angle with the 14 bolt being too severe.

Nice cans:D (no I'm not a pervert)

Hey Bigdude, I had to use the drop kit since my front DL angle was a bit too steep. The rear was just fine with or without. I can’t believe how well the RE 4.5 springs work. I was very stable everywhere I went and walked over just about everything in my path. Those who think the RE 4.5 springs don’t flex, they do. This picture really dose not do it justice.

Was it cause the front CV was binding? Lop....do you have the pic from the other side? With the 38 hanging 3 feet off the ground? :D

you guys should be more careful, those beers could tip over and spill:eek::eek::eek::flipoff2:

Looks good Ryan, but yeah, let's see the other side:grinpimp:

I got pics all around it. I'll try and post em up tonight. :D they're at home. :(

The story goes, we posted on this big ass rock. I was first. Ryan took the other side. He got to the top and said WTF, my tire was right there so he kept going up the tire. Too fawking cool. The pic does'nt do it justice at all. Ryan's pass side tire there, well lets say the hub is over my 5'10" head! That thing is UP THERE.

The rear is CV. Front is standard. The yolk on the tcase side is not real high clearance. It would not be my choice for the front, but it was a helluva deal. It was binding so we had to throw the drop back in. However, being soa on 38s on 4.5 RE's... bellypan clearance is NOT an issue. :D :D

:Putting flame suit on:

Y'all should censor the beer cans and wheeling pics. We have a hard enough time with our image as beer swilling four wheelers without giving photographic evidence the green powers that be.

:Flame suit off:

Nice rigs

Mr. Sean. Your point is just valid enough to make me respond to it. However you're argument I'd throw into the "politically correctness" bullshit that in mine, and most of my peers opinions is the very reason why there's no limit to either side of the story. Does the color of your window shades offend your apartment neighbors? Does the smell of burning carsinigens (sp?) piss off your vegeterian neighbor? If your shoes squeak when you walk to your car in the morning disturb the sleeping sqirells in the tree in your front yard? WHERE THE FUCK DOES IT STOP!?!?

Nothing makes me puke more than every god damn time we (RPS or anyone I camp with) settle in, we fill 3 60 gallon bags full of shit someone else left BEFORE we even throw a tent out. You touched a nerve dood. Nothing personal. But camp with us, THEN judge what and how we conduct ourselves on land for the public. I'm sick and fucking tired of it. I'm sick of seeing my trails either closed or threatened to be closed every god damn day.

FYI. The Coors on my tire and the Bud on Ryan's tire were freshies, set there while we were taking pics. I'm very sorry if they offended you. If I can help you sleep better, I can assure you with unflappable certainty they were quickly consumed and disposed of properly in the burlap sac hanging from the rear of my rig (not pictured) then later consolidated into a recycling recepticle. :mad3:

Damn, good thing I had the asbestos/kevlar/carbon fiber flame suit on.

Please don't think that I judge you for anything. I too try to leave the trail better than I found it. My point is that it could be construed from that original photo that one might have been wheeling whilst consuming said coors. Now I won't admit in a court of law that I have had a Silver Bullet on the trail with the key in the ignition, but I saw enough law enforcement on the trail last year on Quads, sticking there noses into vehicles. Some got written up for open container, which according to the insurance company is like a DUI for 7 years. The more pictures floating around that show open containers with "action shots", the more ammo that greenies have to put pressure on us wheelers. Don't be surprised how much more law enforcement presence you see on the heavy weekends this year.

Don't get me wrong. I am a libertarian that believes in personal accountability and responsibilty and much less interference into our rights of life, liberty and pursuit of carnage, er, happiness. Unfortunately, we have to deal with issues like alcohol on the trail or face the consequences.

Well, I believe we are what we do. Not what we look like. I see your point. I was just in one of those moods last night. Been a bad week. Wife's purse got stolen and they've been writing bad checks all over town. Fuking theives! :mad3:

I did'nt mean to take it out on you. I'm just tired of fighting. I'm tired of being politically correct. I'm tired of walking on rice paper, watching and defending what I do and how I choose to spend my free time.

Cheers.

Hey Lop, that looks like a bottle of Jack in Ryan Jack's hand in that second pic, might want to edit that and make it Gatorade. Just a suggestion.

Nice sig line Kendo... :-)

Great Point Lopp, we do drink and we do party but we clean not only our shit up but also others. If you notice in the first pic we were parked.. and Ya, um we never drink while driving on the trail. So you think some one will talk a look at that picture and say those guys were drinking, lets ban wheeling?? I don’t think ever have I not seen some one drinking on the trail. Not saying that it is ok to drink and wheel but bottom line shit happens. I do admit you do have a good point Sean P, it is ammo to the wrong set of eyes. This is why it's on the Pirates board.

Hey TRD::flipoff:

I am assuming that you are referring to me as an idiot. Nice.

One of the tactics used by folks trying to close trails is to get the administrative (law enforcement) officials to enforce laws already on the books. Witness this liberal group based in Georgetown trying to get Eldo Forest ORV access closed because the proper study (mandated by law) on the speckeled frog hasn't been completed. They put pressure on law enforment to enforce existing laws, like DUI and open containers in order to exert their influence. How many boy scout troop leaders will it take to complain to Forest Service or Eldo County Sheriff that the public drunkeness/open container/DUI behind the wheel before more problems for wheelers arise? I have seen a marked increase in patrols on the heavy weekends, and we will see more.

So if you want to take your chances, fine. But don't call me the idiot, mister.

listen, im not trying to step on toes here but...were all tired of being persecuted for all that crap by the greenies like you...
but our rights are only going to be more steadily eroded if we give these ppl fuel to put on the fire.
we all know damn well that you guys carry trash out, and that there is nothing wrong with what you were doing.
unfortunately, the hippy-envirofags arent going to stop until all our rights are shitted away, and whatever screwy spin they can put on what we do, they will happily exploit. its pretty sick, but it aint changing, and, in the end, your protecting yourself, and us.
nice stack BTW.
