Did F250s ever come with a dana 60 front axle? To my knowledge they only had a closed knuckle D44 LP, but a guy I know says his has a D60. Also, what rear axle would it have? I'm thinking a D60 or D70. He won't let anybody see the truck until its finished. Thanks.

1973 F250's had two types of Dana 44 axles, 60's were not under F250 until 74 (and only the 5-86x u-joint) CHeck sig for more info

However it's not uncommon to swap axles...

Edit: Above I was talking about the front axle only.
The rear will be a Dana 60, unless swapped.
Get Pictures, or BOM's so we can be sure.

the rear most likely is 9" or 60 of what i've seen.

9" never came in 3/4tons, most likely is a 60
