What is this setup not favorable? I was wondering because I was really wanting to get a 2nd (or 3rd) generation dodge. Are there easy ways to fix CAD? From what I understand, the CAD uses an intermediate shaft which weakens the front end. Is this true?

The CAD is vacuum operated, which sucks. These lines can get easily damaged when wheeling. You can buy a Posi-Lok which allows you to get rid of the vacuum, or you can have it always engaged. More moving parts, means more ways for the part to bust. Depends on how you wheel. You can also do what this guy did.

I was just surfing the web, finding information on this. I have a 1st gen dodge. But I will probably swap in a D60 in the near future.
