think this will be a good choice for a rear winch. http://www.k4rovers.com/pb/images/img1312641f5b17ce1b67.JPG ? mk11 hydrolic winch.

Is it powered via a powersteering pump or a PTO pump?

Cool winches, heavy. The engagement lever is broken . . . What exactly are your criteria?

the 109 already has the koenig in the front, so i was going to remove the over drive and run a pto winch out the rear. i m not sure how the hydrloic works? but i got a 8274 warn , maybe i can fit that in the back. work on a mounting system, using a swing out tyre carrier off a wrangler j##P ...

If it's a hydraulic powered winch you can use a engine mounted power steering pump and that way retain the overdrive.

The hydro will be easier to install then a true PTO drive because you don't have to worry about drive lines. The hoses are flexable so it just makes it easier to run them.

Mount it under the bed. Most of those tire carriers barely hold a tire, let alone a winch

Probably not. Theres no place on that bumper to mount a winch of that size, and I certainly wouldnt mount it on the tire carrier itself. You have to remember, that MK 2 rover winch is dimensionally larger than a warn 15K.

installed the 8274. welded 2 inch plate to rear cross member, 2 inch square tubing goes through cross member to another 2 inch plate. then grd 8 bolts hold it in place. i did this in three places, then added some gussets ... i think it will be fine. and if it isnt, then plasma it all off and start again ....
