If it's a hydraulic powered winch you can use a engine mounted power steering pump and that way retain the overdrive. The hydro will be easier to install then a true PTO drive because you don't have to worry about drive lines. The hoses are flexable so it just makes it easier to run them. Leafsprung 03-12-2007, 10:01 AM Probably not. Theres no place on that bumper to mount a winch of that size, and I certainly wouldnt mount it on the tire carrier itself. You have to remember, that MK 2 rover winch is dimensionally larger than a warn 15K. dhkcoatings 03-13-2007, 04:42 AM installed the 8274. welded 2 inch plate to rear cross member, 2 inch square tubing goes through cross member to another 2 inch plate. then grd 8 bolts hold it in place. i did this in three places, then added some gussets ... i think it will be fine. and if it isnt, then plasma it all off and start again .... red90rover 03-13-2007, 12:15 PM i....2 inch plate........
