i have a 78 j-10 and don't think i'd buy a 67 j-20 especially for that kinda money ... check over on the FSJ list. several of those guys like that 327 engine ... it's kinda odd as i recall. definitely not a chevy 327.

Well, the 327 is a high nickel content block. Can build the hell out of them, but parts are rare/expensive. They also have a forged crank. Did I mention parts were expensive? Throw a blower and nitrous onto that thing and the block and crank don't care...

Probably a 60 and 44 as far as the axles are concerned.

By no means am I an expert but I have been lookin for a J 10/20 for about 6 months now. And from what I have read the 10's & 20's were only produced in the late 70's through the mid 80's. What you are looking at is probabaly a J 3000 or 4000. You might want to look over on www.ifsja.com in the tech section or in the Tech Library. They also have VIN decoders.

Hope this helps
