anyone running a auto meter speedo in a first gen toyota pick up? if so how hard was it to hook up? and what all did you need?

I'm looking at doing this myself since I tossing my stock dash out.

Autometer sells a Hall effect sensor that you ca mount some where. I'm thinking about going that route. However I'm not sure where the best place is to mount it yet and I haven't bothered to call Autometer and talk to them.
