: 16.5 wheels with Mog pattern

So I got some Mog 404 axles coming. Also ordered a set of Tireloc beadlocks for 16.5x12 rims. Now I need wheels. Would like @ 4" BS. Anybody know of a good place to get custom wheels done with the Mog bolt pattern? Of course cost IS a concern, but I also realize that this is a custom deal and that usually means $$. BTW, probably needs to be steel because I gotta drill a hole for the Tireloc valve stem and I don't know how well aluminum would take that.
Thanks,
Travis

AFAIK, Stockton Wheel is about it... search for feedback on their stuff.

Twisted Customs may be able to do something like that.

We get calls probably a couple times a week for Mog, Power Wagon, Deuce, Rover, and similar big military bolt patterns--we can't get wheels made in any of those. :(

I would send the tirelocs back and contact daniel at usa6x6 he can do hummer rims with rubber or magn. runflats with the proper wheel centers for about $199 a wheel...

Yes, the hummer wheel setup had crossed my mind. But the biggest concern is the width. What's the widest hummer wheel setup? I need at least 10" wide before I will even consider it, prefer 12" wide. Help is good. Here's a beer in advance.
Thanks,
Travis

Willamette wheel in PDX. They do good work, and most likely can take your MOG centers and weld them into new beadlock hoops. They have done several sets of rover wheels (5 on 6.5) for friends. Nice quality, no complaints.

Willamette Wheel must be outta business. I heard the rumor somewhere before so that's why I didn't try them earlier. So after this most recent post above I called there to see what's up. Prerecorded message "this # has been disconnected." Bummer.

Hey Daniel

Not to get too far of topic, but what's wrong with the Tireloc's? And what size are yours?

Didn't forget you re: the CTIS info, just been kinda' busy.

Just have a machine shop laser cut you come centers with the bolt pattern. Use any set of wheels you got and weld the centers in to whatever back spacing. That's what I did with my old homemade beadlocked 15 inch wheels so they would fit my rockwells. The new centers cost me 100 bucks and I welded them in myself. Cheap and easy!

Ya. I started this thread before there was a Mog forum. Also, there was a thread that Coachgeo and I had a large contribution to and think that's what lit the fire for the new forum. Been looking at Hummer beadlocks as well. Will still need the Mog centers welded in. Been trying to get ahold of Twisted Customs but there phone has been disconnected. What's up?

I already knew the timeline of this post vs. the inception of the MOG forum, but just wanted to razz ya some. :p Maybe you could ask the Gen4x4 Moderator to move the topic over there?

As far as Twisted Customs goes I have no idea on that one. Have you tried asking Daniel over at USA 6x6 (www.usa6x6.com) yet? What about calling Scott @ ROCKSTOMPER (www.rockstomper.com) ?!? IF they don't do it they will most likely know someone who can do it right and not LAG like a lot of the :rainbow::clown: mofos out there!! I am more than likely gonna be getting some Hummer rims and playing with the backspacing to fit my D60 and 14.5" wide meats.

Post up when you have a source for us to tap into!!
