I recently bent the shit out of my tierod on my dana 60 by running over a ford festiva in my shop parking lot, then got death wobble from hell. I put a straight tierod on there but the wobble is still there, I tried a few alignment positons but none seem to be good. My boss says the tires need to be pointed like this

I want to know if that is right, he is saying 1/2 inch tighter in the front. How do you guys set up your rigs that see pavement sometimes. I refuse to pay schwabs 80 bucks to align my junk, oh yeah and they wont touch it anyways :flipoff2:

not that i ever get it exactly right, but i usually set it up very slighty toed in, like your boss said. (however, i dont drive mine on the road.)

You only need a couple degrees of toe-in. 1/4" on a 235x75r15 tire is like half a foot on a 44" tire.

You should only be around 1/8" toed in. Its good to be a little toed in because the drag on the tires at highway speed will try to toe the tires out.

I have the same problem just jumped under truck and rechecked the toe in & out well after throwing the new streeing parts on last weekend and rushing I realized the wheels where toed in about 3/4" just set it up dead on and test drove alot less woble just shakes for a split second after applying brakes

It would make it toe out more if anything when you hit the brakes.
