I am not much for buying vehicles any more, and I don't need any new projects. These sort of just came along with a container load of parts I was after! They will all be for sale eventually, as soon as I get caught up with my customer's projects and have time to fully assess them.

1. 1972 FJ40. 350/400/stock case, p/s, disc brakes, aux tank. Fresh Edelbrock carb and HEI dizzy. 4 small rust spots. Uncut wheelwells.

2. 78 FJ40. Very, very stock. Original dune beige paint. Runs, but will need a carb rebuild. I can prolly handle that. Body very straight and clean;uncut wheelwells. Seats intact. Rollcage and aux tank added. 4 rust spots [2 behind front turn signals, 2 above taillights.

3. 1977 FJ40. Project vehicle needs paint and reassembly. PO drove it into the body shop, had the rust cut out of the quarter panels and had the front clip disassembled to paint. Never got it done. I will supply the missing pieces [not sure what if anything other than a battery is missing yet] and start the engine before reassembling the front clip.

Wondering if I should throw a few hundred at a cheap paint job before I resell it, or just let it go in primer? If I paint it, I should probably reassemble the windshield assembly as well?

4. 1966 FJ40. This one gives me 'wood'; I just SO don't need any more projects in my stable that never get driven. Original baby blue paint in above average condition. Stock 3 on the tree intact, original dash 100 percent intact, along with the 4 seats in original tattered upholstery. The thing's even got the factory reflectors.

There is a supposedly freshly rebuilt F155 longblock under the hood, which I may or may not take the time to finish assembling. I am somewhat tempted to take one of my good used F135 longblocks from inside the shop and give a resto guy some hope. I'll prolly drag this one back to the casa and debate it for a year or two.:shaking:

5. 1980 FJ40. This will either be parted or sold as-is as a project. It was a V-8 auto, but the motor is gone. Tranny might be a 350 [I'm not really sure] Tub is fairly clean, other than a section approximately 1" x10" long where the driver's floor meets the door sill. The frame is straight, but has a nasty cut in the crossmember under the bib from a poorly executed ps conversion. I will have to post some pics of this ps conversion later; it is truly 'memorable'. :barf:

I've decided that I'm gonna part the 1980. If you know anyone looking for a decent body tub [only rot is at the driver's door jamb] tell them to give me a call at the shop. Thanks
