fj62 land cruiser...here's the catch...you gotta buy a raffle ticket (or a bunch of em) :D

here's the story
every year, the colorado assoc of 4wd clubs has built a jeep to raffle off...well not this year dangit. this year, we're going classy and raffling off a quality vehicle. help rising sun show that toyotas will earn the most, and purchase your ticket today.

money is used for next years raffle rig, general fund and to help keep public lands public.

the vehicle is a 5/89 fj62. so far, we've got an uncle ben rebuilt 3fe with the head shaved, alcan 3" lift, 1"body lift from roger brown of 4crawler off road, shiney new grill from those boys down south, lone star land cruisers, anti inversion shackles with greasable pins from southwest 4x4, rocky mountain cruisers has us an arb snorkle, new exhaust as soon as the motor's in, new procomp tires and rims from 4wpw, shiney new champagne paint job, driver's seat's been refoamed and all the seats have tuff duck covers courtesy of spector off road, long range fuel tank from man a fre, slee off road's got us a rear tire/spare carrier, solid rock off road (2badfjs) is building the sliders as we speak, dave gore (4+) is working on the front bumper which will hold the new warn 9500 winch, royal purple and lucas are taking care of the fluids, steve at powertank has donated a 10lb system, and we've got more planned!

for buildup pics, go to either risingsun4x4club.org, or hightrails.org. the drawing will be december 1st at the Caravan for Kids event at Jeffco Fairgrounds, winner doesn't need to be present. If you're out of state, we will tow it to the shipper of your choice, just ask the guy in Cali that won last years scrambler.

there's a form to purchase tickets at hightrails.org
http://hightrails.org/raffle_tickets.html

purchase often and purchase lots, let's show those jeep guys what the world really wants.

Ige,
great job on the truck.
I sent in some money for tickets already. Make sure you put glue on them so they get picked.

thanks dave, but if i fix your tickets, how'm i gonna win :D

you've got a lot of competition from rising sun. everyone's who's worked on it keeps calling it their rig. it's definitely a nice setup...even if you do have to mortgage the house to fill up the long range tank:smokin:

Too cool. Never a big fan of the granny wagons but that is a killer rig.

got the arb and warn winch on friday night in the rain at all 4 fun. looks weird with the 9500ti laying down.

today, nakman wired in the extra fuse block, cb, and all the arb locker stuff (into his bitchin custom arb switch panel). he also rerouted a couple of switches for convenience. subzali made a cool new bracket to mount the arb compressor. i did jack. :D

almost done :smokin:

hopefully i'll be able to get pics up soon
