miniyota 05-23-2002, 10:32 AM i'm thinking about buying one and like to see what you have doen for mods. i have a toy mini truck for the bigger crap. and i'd like to get an 80's fj60 for my family to go camping and i'll probably go with a 350 chevy for the go and some different axels and transfercase.
thanks:flipoff2:

wngrog 05-23-2002, 12:02 PM Your Cruiser has leaf springs, shocks and coil springs
Looks cool, but I am lost....
Actnjacksn 05-23-2002, 12:06 PM I was thinking the same thing...but then again Im always confused. :D
Sean
Yepp,
The leafs just locate the axel, and the coils lift it.
bullsac 05-23-2002, 01:28 PM hey jbt..
doesn't that lift work against each other?
the coils are trying to re-arch the leaf springs
because it is pushing the axle down and the frame up?
just curious?

reorx 05-23-2002, 07:47 PM Here's me on the one trail I successfully ran at CM 2002! Major props to Gary for building the totally cool sliders.
FIXXXXAH 05-23-2002, 09:15 PM It seams like it would work to lift, because you have two springs, it wouldnt be trying to rearch the leaf until you had acheived enough lift to pass its resting arch. just seams like it would be mighty stiff and have very little flex.
got any flex shots?
