A bud of mine that works at a body shop dropped off a part to me last night. It's a complete center side panel. Goes from the cowl, under the door and over the rear wheel well. It's the panel that has the "Jeep" stamped in the side. It's brand new and only missing the very rear part (that he cut out for use on the vehicle being repaired). He said they're VERY expensive.

Anybody have an idea what it's worth?? I'll try and put a pic up tonight.

if its what i think it is, ive looked this up before at the shop, its about 140 or so NEW

its the entire side of the tub.. if i am reading this right.. i know its got to be a lot more than 140 new.. unless thats cost.. but that still seems low.. Sorry jeff.. dont know the price.. but if you have someone that wants to fix their smashed rocker panels and knows how to graft the body in.. it could be worth a few hundred to them.. or maybe some fool that likes running with doors.. and now a roll over prevents him from closing the door anymore

It says Joop. I think it's YJ. I think it'll work for late CJ's too. Yes, it's the complete side of the tub. Passenger side.

From the looks of the (JOOP) and a couple of other things... looks like TJ to me. It's brand spank'n new OEM, missing the tail end of where, on the first pic you can see the tape stencil. Bring it!

that would be a tj side panel.. Its definatly could be worth some money.. i know those things are a fortune if you have to buy them from the dealer or a body shop

well TJ ones would be more expensive than CJ7 ones i looked up :D and cost was like 120 so i added some to my guess. if you really wanna know i can check at work tommarow or just call Steve N

Hell ya! I can totally use it that's the side of the Jeep that we smashed the shit out of at Calrocs. :bounce: bounce2: picture the section fronm the cowl to the door about 6" shorter. :eek: Loppy ask Kid when he's coming over to pick up the free 2.5?

I just called my supplier - those are about US$150 up here new.
