You guys already know all this, but I thought I would post the URL, just in case... ;)

Huge difference in the way it acts now. Really fast 1st to 2nd shift, no more slow, drawn out shifts, no popping out of gear,
Haven't had it on any steep climbs to try out the deep pan. I'll do that Saturday.
No pics though. Too busy working on it to take pictures. Not that there was much to take pictures of in any case. It is basic monkey wrenching, nothing tricky to it.
And, yes, I cross posted the writeup so the other boards can share... :D

And mine. :-)
Tho' my automatic has good firm shifts, and it shifts only when I want it to.
It'll do that when you run a manual valvebody. :D
It's just like driving my 4spd, but I don't have to use the clutch (one foot for go and one for woah) and it shifts quicker than I could ever do with my close T19 (tho I've tried).
Only downside to all that was getting it to "wake up" last night and get onto the trailer without making an insane mount of noise.. something about the 3500stall converter makes it not want to idle up the ramps. :D
My T19 doesn't have that problem. I could load it by running it on the starter. :)

Hehehe. Yep, kind of like that.
Nice try though. I'm keeping the auto, for now. ;)

Wow. Took the freeway on a 3 hour trip today. What a difference those mufflers make. I can breathe!! I mean, the truck can breathe. I actually had power in the 65-80 range. Thos stupid old mufflers of mine must have just been gagging the poor engine. Engine ran a lot cooler, also. That was downright fun!! Never liked the freeway before. Always felt like once I got to 65 or so, the engine was working too hard. Well, it was. It was working hard to force the exhaust through.
Tomorrow I wheel. yeah baby!!!
