VOLUNTEER WORK DAY

MILLIONAIRE CAMP AND BASSI FALLS AREA
WATERSHED RESTORATION PROJECT

The Forest Service is looking for help to put the finishing touches on the watershed restoration project that was completed during the spring, 2002 in the Millionaire Camp and Bassi Falls area. The work will involve spreading rice straw to provide ground cover, and some handwork using rakes and shovels to smooth out scarified user created roads.

WHEN: Saturday, May 25, 2002 (Memorial Day Weekend)

WHERE: Meet at Millionaire Camp at 9:00 am (north of Crystal Info. Station on Ice House Road; turn right on road 12N32, which is across from Big Silver Creek Group Campground; follow road 12N32 to the end)


Please bring gloves, shovels, and rakes (if you have them). Wear pants and bring a long sleeved shirt.
