Bought this for the 6 pinion planetary for a doubler kit. Decided to go another route. Has two patches of JB weld on the back half of the case. The body of the vehicle it came out of rubbed on the case and it leaked a little. Should not cause an issue. Has a slip yoke rear and stock flange front. 27 spline input.

Did you pirate the 6 pinion from it? Would you want to part out the 6 pinion for $40? What year is it, do you know?

PS. Actually, it has been a while since I was in my 231 case but does the "sun" ring come out? By "sun" I am referring to the outer ring the pinions ride on. If so, could you include that ring? That way the year should not matter. From what I know, there was a gear cut somewhere between '93 and '98, this way the gears will mesh correctly.

I could just send the 6 pinion planetary if you want. It would include all of the parts needed to swap in into your 231.

I beleive that it is around a 87 or 88 case.
