Here is the deal, I purchased this motor with the intentions of throwing it into my f-150, but I dont have the time to start tearing into that kind of project right now, so I would rather have the space back in my garage.

The motor is for an e-150 ford van, I have the motor narrowed down to a 99 or 2000 model. The guy I bought it from didnt know a damn thing about it, so I had to do quite a bit of research just to find out exactly what it was. The motor is a non PI (performance improved) 4.6, which ford switched to in 01 with the E series motors.....which basically just upped the power a little with a better flowing intake manifold and better flowing cylinder heads, with differently shaped intake ports, larger valves...the non pi motor is rated at 220 hp, while the pi 4.6 is rated at 231.

The guy I purchased the motor from picked it up from his work with the plans of throwing it into his truck too, but he gave up pretty much like I am. According to him, it has never been ran, and you can tell by looking at it that it has never been in a vehicle.

Like I said, this motor is for a ford econoline van, but it can be swapped into a f-150 with some small modifications. The intake manifolds are a little different, so you would need one for a f-150 and since you are swapping that, you would also need the engine mgt. harness. The pulley on the water pump may be interchangable, I didnt get that far to tell for sure...same goes for the power steering pump pulley. Once you got the old motor out of the truck, you would have to pay close attention to the discharge angle of the a/c pump. I do believe the angle is different between the two.
I'm almost positive the exhaust manifolds are not interchangable due to the difference in framerail configuration between econobox and truck chassis.

This is a complete motor, there are no parts missing. It would be a great swap for somebody trying to freshen up their f-150, or for somebody who wants to do a custom install...and just by browsing this site for the past few weeks, I can tell there are many projects that have some crazy work going into them.

Yeah, I know Im a new guy to the boards, but I have been a long time member over at fordtruckworld, and there are plenty of guys who know me and can vouch for my honesty over there. I just didnt want to come across as some new guy looking to rip anybody off.
