ok i got a 6 LUG chevy 44 front, i need to change the pattern to 8 LUG. im hearing mixed thoughts on what i need to get. so what do i need to get when i go to pick n pull tommarow??

Find a 8 lug 44 from a chevy and get everything from, not including the steering knuckle, out. I am not sure about the spindles, I know the inner roller bearings are the same #'s from 3/4 to 1/2 ton. Maybe someone will chime in, does he need the spindle??? I am sure wherever ya go, the things won't cost that much, get em!!! I picked up a heavy (large lockouts) 3/4 ton 44 and 14 bolt up here for $150.00 for both of em!

Depends on what year his 6-lug D44 is as to whether he has the small or large bearing spindle. If its 78 or later, i believe he'll have the large spindle and therefor not need to get them from the donor. All you should need is the 3/4 hub, rotor, and caliper support brackets.

where is the BOM# on this axle? what are the sizes of the big bearing and smaller bearing?
