I have a Dana 20 transfer in my CJ a transplant.I currently have a Muncie car 4-speed with Advanced that was coupled to a Dana 18. When I put the 20 in for centered output to a Dana 60 rear, I remember having to make a sleeved type bearing retainer to adapt up to the 20. This bit of fogged memory tells me that I have the 4 inch bore in my 20 transfercase. Novak says that they need to know the bore size of the 20 to make sure I get the right adapter, Aren't all 20's the same with a 4 " bore?????

I know..... measure it!!!! But I wish to purchase the adapter now while cash is on hand then save more ( clutch....drivelines....and all the stuff that usualy sets you back with any conversion) before putting my Jeep out of commision....

What do you think?????

Well, just to let you know,"book of fabrication ...or whatever" I was seeking information not insults..!!!!!

I am an aircraft aviation machinist of 30 years and I will have you know that we seek information on a daily basis and without wiseass replys.......I thought this was an information source and I HAD SEARCHED THE WEB TO FIND IT!!!!!! I have recieved mostly good information here until this reply....... and believe me the smallman power trip that some people have by not sharing information only indicates there trying to uphold whatever small empire they think they empower!!!!!!:flipoff2:

ya, its getting kind of old with the "i think you should know this by now" attitude people are getting:rolleyes: if its such a simple answer, it should take you less wasted time to answer it than to take the time to think up something wiseass to say.;)
