I have a soft top for my '88 4Runner & while I had it in the shop to get the windows replaced I asked about making copies. This is a custom soft top with a frame that bolts directly to the hard top bolt holes. There are snaps that are pop rivited across the back.
I was quoted $395 for the top in vynal & it will cost about $75 for me to make the frame. That would total $470 & that is Canadian. You would be responsible for shipping, handling & duty from New Brunswick Canada.
I also inquired about having it made from Sunbrella & was told it would increase the price by about $80, so it would be $550 cdn for a sunbrella top.
I have also had some inquires about a bikini top, cargo area cover, & if it is possible to have the sides removable. These are all possibilities. The bikini top & rear cargo cover could be used with the full cover frame, so changing from one to the other would be very easy. The rear window does roll up & is secured for air flow.
Any changes to the origional top would increase the price but I can check & get the updated price.

No intrest?? I know from experience that there are very few companies out there who make any kind of top for the 4Runners. I looked around for something different from the square back of the hard top & the price was/is right. The option for the cargo area, I am looking at getting as well. I'm still deciding whether to get a bikini top or take mine back in for the removable sides.

No they are on a first come first serve basis. I've got one order right now & another one probably in a couple of days. You can order it anytime I do need about a two week window for the shop to get it done. They are getting a little busy. Let me know when you want one & we'll set it up.
