Has anyone installed a Howell Fuel Injection system on a 258 CJ7 engine? If so could you give any advice other than following the instructions included in the kit?

The instructions seem pretty straight forward and not too difficult to follow, I'm looking for any advice on what to watch out for or possible trouble you ran into installing the system.

Thanks, RW.

I've got the same system and love it. Had to turn up the base idle a bit (drilling out the protective cover.) But otherwise a great system. You'll pull out miles of factory wiring.

While your spending money on improvements, do the HEI distributor swap. Look up using a Nova In-Line 6 250C.I. distributor with coil in cap. Way better cold nature and even fewer wires from the factory ignition (which is on the left fender.)
