It took me only about 3 hours with having to modify a bracket to work with the body lift I have. It should take about that or less for an install on a rig with no BL. The only problem I ran into was forgeting to put on all the gaskets. And the lower frame tie in needed to be adjusted (cut and weld on an inch of steel) to work with a body lift.

Other than that it was a straight forward install.

Here are some pics.

here it is completed.

Here is where it mounts to the body.

Here is how it hinges with the tailgate.

By the way. I did this on my own with a little help from my GF, but that just slowed things down.

Looks good. Im either going to get one of these or build my own. The price is right, but I have a question. What do the body mounts attach to? Or does the carrier include brackets that go behind the body mounts for support?

Clay- It has brackets that go on the other side of the body to "sandwich" the body. The upper bracket mounts to the roll bar, and the lower bracket mounts to the rear right body mount. It's a pretty good idea.

I was going to make my own, but this one is alot nicer than anything I could ever make. Plus the price was right.

People have asked about how the bottom mount ties into the body mount and how to modify it for a body lift, so I'll take a pic of it tomorrow.

Hey Cutter, you mind letting me in on how to make photopoint pics show up?
