I'm thinking about pulling the cage from my TJ and building a whole new one tied into the frame, fenders, and front end. Think I can sell what I have now? It's a custom Hansen cage and has never taken a hard hit. What could I get for it.....?

Seriously though, couldn't you just modify your cage to tie it into the frame rails and front end?

I would say that it may be worth $400 to someone with a stock cage looking for a full cage. The consideration is having a new cage built (added to the original) for $600 to $1000 or buying your used one.

For someone with the stock cage who has rolled, it may be worth more depending upon what a replacement stock cage would cost at the junk yards.

Jes - The mods I have planned are too complicated to graft in a new piece. I'd like to just sell what I have and rebuild it all as I want it.

Ya, that's what I figured. Probably easier to start from scratch and design and build the whole thing the way you want. That is a nice cage though.

I just got off the phone with Tom, He can't swing the cash until the end of the month.
