I think you'll be hearing a lot of fighting over who called shotgun first with those seats!:D

I would STRONGLY encourage you to put a B pillar back in if you intend to wheel anywhere outside of your lawn. I know it comes in a horrible spot on these chassis, but if you put one a couple inches back, you shouldn't hit your head on it. Besides being structural, it's also gonna help keep rocks or trees or whatever else you wheel on from hitting anyone inside.

i have no intentions to race this one it is more for riding semi easy trails

the reason the pillow is gone asi have 2 kids that live with me and go every where i go but they have to be lifted in and out of any thing there life is a wheel chair or bed, and they are to big even at 90 lbs to be bent thought the b pillor

but next year project is a different story

looking at building a X chassis this winter providing i can get a shop built this summer it is a pain building in a tent

but some one is rith it is a trip to drive, took it to the shop yesterday to have the tailpipe made for it. and the ownwer of the shop is very much in to playing off road and has a small rock garden to play in highest rock is about 8 feet

he told me this would never make it thought the garden with out bigger tires but had to try any way

so we spent the next 3 hours and tank of gas driving this silly thing thought it over it and any other way we could thing off t beat the jeeps on 44 inch tires it beat them all yesterday there

we had his workers and even people from around town there with rigs playing

it was the only one to climb the 15 foot wall down the street of rock dumped there by the farmers out of the fields..{ i hate poison oak too} feel sorry for the guy that was acting as spotter he had to walk thougt it i just drove then we took turns driving up and back down the wall

The rig is looking great. That is the best part about an F-Toy, you can just take it out and have fun with it. Bring your family and just go wheeling. Weather it is on the trail or on a pile of rocks.

I remember when yu picked the chassis up you had yur kids with you. As a suggestion maybe add a "wind wing bar" behind the "A" pillar to make the span smaller between the current A and B pillar.
Here is a really bad photo chop for an example.

yes it does

there are metial mounts beside on both outside and inside of the frame that go side to side there are braces the run front to rear
there are mounts at the front and at the rear of the rig

basicly today has been spent finishing the motor for my rail and install it in the rail and checking to make sure it will fire just lined up the old marks and hit the go button anf it barked to life :) that poor litle 2.3 is now 2.9

have 4 hour dyno time paid for to finish the rail.

then will finish the F toy i am going to put the B pillor back in like every one tells me but i am going to move it forward to where the rear side panel braces is the move forward about 2 inches and install it there on both sides
this showed give me room to fit the 2 others that live with me in and out of the rear seat. plus will still be back enought for me to get in and out with my bad leg

it is not like we can race anyway i have rear disk brakes over the drums, i am also running a different fuel injection system {VW type}.
