took the valve cover off adjust the valves on my motor.

on the intake number 2 and 3 the rockers arms are just bearly making contact with the valve stem, the ends that ride on the cam are bearly on the cam off about a 1/4 on each.

the book shows a spacer but i am not able to locate the part number or any other information on them can any one please help

Have not seen a spacer before. Did you maybe loose the part of the rocker that rides on the cam. Post some pics of your rocker assembly and pic of the book.

as you can see the valve is not sitting right over the valve both 2 and 3 are siting the same both the rocker arms have a black ring on the side of the rocker arm way from the spring and this appears to have wore away a olt on valve 2 and not as bad on valve3 intakes

it appears only the 2 center valves have this ring
