Anyone know a good durable paint for my exo cage? I am tired of having to re-spray the thing with rustolium ever time I come back in from wheeling since the cage is already one the Sammi.

Truck and tracker paint from TSC. Beef up the hardener and you will have some hard ass paint.

If it's rocks takeing it off then your S.O.L paint will never hold up.

Rocks scrap yes but just washing the mud off will take off the paint as well. Thanks for the idea, any dea how much the TSC paint cost?

If just washing it is taking it off, then before you even spray anything on there, just take a scuff pad AKA Scotch Brite pad and scuff the whole thing, then make sure its completely clean of any oils (even the oils from your hands will make the paint peel off eventually) then paint it. It comes off so easily probably because the paint isn't actually sticking to the metal.

Anyone ever use POR(paint over rust) paint. I found them on the internet just wondering how tuff the paint is

That stuff is awesome, we use it at work. The only problem is that it is very costly. I guess we haven't been using it long enough to see if it fades or not, but it's good stuff.

Just did my new front axle in the TSC gloss black implement paint. I could definitely see where the hardener would have been nice but it is holding up regardless. I used a brush and put it on thick! I let it dry over night but should have done a couple days dry time. Overall i'm very happy with the results it's very durable once given enough time to dry. Go with a gloss color it will clean up easier.

It ain't 'zactly cheap but I did my Poison Spyder Ricochette Rockers with DuraBak. Use the Metacoate primer and the "smooth" DuraBak and it'll hold up great and is very easy to touch up when necessary. Check out http://www.cotelind.com/

good point but even on the top part of the bars where rocks don't hit the paint is coming off. SO I need something that is going to keep it from rusting

That was kind of my point with the DuraBak, it takes a helluva lot of punishment before wearing off...even in the rocks. I've never even began to scratch the coating on any part that isn't directly dragged. The rockers are a stepping surface, a jack point, parking lot protection from other car doors, etc. and none of this has even fazed the coating. I know as soon as I strip out the interiro of my tub and coat my own rollcage with this stuff, I will have a coating that's gonna last a real long time. To me, that's worth the money and effort.
