Went to a run one time that a Blazer sunk in the campgounds (headed out to the trails) and it took 3 rigs with winches to extract him. The lowest rated one was a 9000 lb. Unless you're winching with all the cable all the way out, all the time, your actual stall speed will be much, much lower. That said, you still might be able to get away with using a 5K-pound winch on a Suzuki, just make sure you use a snatch block or you'll burn up the motor in a hurry. TNToy 05-29-2002, 10:30 AM My Toy isn't a thousand pounds heavier than your zuk, and I've stalled my 9K winch on ocassion. The thing is, when you bury a rig good, the mud grabs a zuk's axles & frame just as hard as a duallys. The rig mig be lighter, but it's in the same mud. You'd have to double-line a 5K winch a lot. And that would only leave you with 25 feet of cable.
