Body Lifting Tool

I was watching the horsepower block on Spike TV a coupel weeks ago. They used this H frame lift with four straps haning down to lift the body of a car off a frame. It went into a cherry picker by replacing the bar with the hook on the end. Any body ever see one of these things for sale, or it it some custom fabricated tool that I'd have to have someone else build for me (my fab skills are next to (infact, dead on) nill, that's why I read so much on this site).

I've seen those, too. I'm sure somebody makes one, but you could easily use an engine hoist with one of those engine levelers and 4 ratchet straps. No fab work involved, probably would work pretty well, and you won't have wasted your money on an attachement that only does one thing.

Use 2 floor jacks and some pieces of wood.
