well this is a list of pics of stuff i broke...
first the tent...
second the u joint...
third the spring perch...
(the rest of the list was broke cuz of this break)
fourth the drive shaft....
fifth the gas tank...
sixth the tail gate....
and last...my only working tail light...
other than that it was a killer weekend

that's the second clamp perch setup i've seen break. i like the idea, but they don't seem to be so tuff.

wouldn't that just be responsible for the welding capabilities... and the fact that their is high shear preassure at this location

I think the perch broke because of the welding job...it doesn;t appear any of the bolts broke???:D

i'm sure it was the weld that broke. there is more stress on the clamp style perch than a norm u-bolt set up, so it doesn't suprise me. i think once somebody perfects this idea it'll be a big hit!

yes it was the weld that broke...i had a buddy weld it with a arc and it had 0 penitration so i had a pro welder weld it for me...it aint going no where now.
