So i was given a pro tool bender with the manuel ratchet type set up, however I am looking to convert it over to a hydraulic set up. How is everyone else doing the cheaply. I am very capable and am able to machine whatever necesary. Any ideas???? what has everybody else done. My thoughts were to get a tie rod cylinder and grab off the front for bolts and then machine the plate in which that mounts to instead of using the threaded cylinder like they use. Also, what is out there for pump options.... I have a sawginaw pump laying around and a couple ac motors........ Any thoughts????

there have been plenty of write ups on the board, whether you plan to do an air/hydro setup or go with a full hydro setup. you should consult with the search feature.
i set mine up w/ a harbor freight air/hydro ram. the ram cost about $75. its not the fastest but is definately much better than doing it manually.

One of many on here, http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=455001 do some searching and you will find many more.
Most use a long 8 ton engine hoist ram or plumb a full hydro pump and cylinder.
Edit: I added a few more for ya:
