Ahh shit...Didn't check the link, they worked a while ago. I think I have them saved on my other computer. I'll check when I get back home tomorrow. I think they were from geargrinder.
Maybe Geargrinder has a new link?
ElPasoEric hosted them at one time, but his link is dead now, too

I found the files. The one that is a jpeg is not clear, It was a screen shot and it didn't come out very well. I can't attach the dwg file, so PM me email address if you want a copy. I have no idea of the quality or how accurate it is, I saved it from one of the previously posted links when they still worked.

These are off a ZIP file that I got off here a little while ago for a 105 Bender copy:

and

http://www.mybackyardjunk.com/fixed_arm.JPG

Probably won't help much, but I thought I could post them for reference anyways.

Jesse at Trails Less Traveled is hosting the file in his CADD library section. He is hosting them in their native .dgn file that I created them in, as well as a converted .dxf file.

Here is the link.

Bender Files (http://www.trailslesstraveled.com/resources/cadlibrary/file/manual-tubing-bender/)

Good luck. Happy bending.

 You have a JD2 or protools105? The dies are not compatable. You need the arms to match the dies you have.

I bent the swing arms on my pro tools bender, pro tools only wanted $80 to replace them. You should probably check on a factory replacement before you spend a lot of time and money getting them cnc'ed.

Later,
Jason

I tried to open the .dwg and .dxf files from the Trailslesstraveled.com link above, but Autocad 2007 says that both files are invalid. Anyone else have this problem? I really need plans for the follower arm (the one to which the follower die attaches) so I can finish up my bender. Thanks.

I get the same error when I try to open the dwg in 2006. Pretty typical of a file that has been created/saved in a newer version.

I'm guessing someone(Jesse?) has 2008, opened the file, saved it, and closed it, thus making it invalid to anyone running less than 2008.

I am downloading 2008 right now. If it does open up, I will save it as the legacy version and post it so everyone can download it.

I just tried opening it in Civil 3D 2008, and it still kicks back as Drawing File Not Valid.

I got this zip of the JD2 arms to open with solidworks 2006. If anyone needs it in another format you can PM me and I can try to save it in other format and send it to you..

Hhmm, that is strange. I can't open them either, but the link worked. Wiggamo, I'll send you a .jpeg.

Anyone get a protools drawing/dimensions yet?

I bent my arms a couple months ago and need to make new ones.

I really only need the x and y distance between the main die pin and the 1st backing die pin, I can generate the rest.

or could someone check me? When I use the DRO on the mill I get ~3.4330 and 1.8745. Problem is the holes are also elongated which isn't helping the situation, so I might as well throw out most of the accuracy.

Alright, here are the plans for the JD2 bender. These links are on my own website, so they will be up for a long time. I opened them in Autocad 2007, but saved them as 2000 LT dwg and dxf files, so everyone should be able to open them. Let me know if there are any problems with the files.

Contact JD2. My buddy bent an arm and tore the pin hole open and they replaced it.

We've made a couple of modified replacement frames for local guys out of 3/4" cold roll; haven't really bothered trying to sell them, but if there's call for them, I suppose we could.
