Just wondering if anyone has some clear pictures of the rear end (rockwell) on the sniper. I'd like to see how they did the cage for the pinion brake and mounted the caliper off it. Thanks

couldn't find a good pic, but i am relatively sure that it is just like 1" tube welded to the housing. It is about 4 or 5 pieces that wrap around the rotor, and protect it from the bottom. I would say just get creative with it, but make sure to leave enough room to disassemble everything...

I’m going to resurrect this thread… been searching all night for clear pics of Steve Rumore’s snipers axles. Specifically I’m trying to find a clear pic of the cage for the pinion brake and a clear shot of the mounting for the double ended ram. A pic of the control arm mounts would be nice too… but the ram and cage pics are definitely what I want to see most.

How is he getting away each time?

What really confuses me is the vehicle description. We go from being told about a White Isuzu box truck to a minivan to an astro van, etc. Is he driving all these different vehicles or are witness descriptions so bad that they just keep throwing updated vehicle information out?. Doesn't seem like they have much info on this guy.

This pic is soooooo close to what I'm looking for... if only it was taken a few inches lower... what is that bracket actually bolted to? I'm guessing he has some sort of tube loop coming around similiar to what you mounted your lower control arms to? (starting to get why I am so interested in this mount ;) )

Eh, I'm almost willing to bet that he isn't driving a white anything... They planted the whole white minivan idea into people's heads, so now god forbid your in an icecream truck 10 miles away from a shooting people are going to be like "HOLY CRAP!!!! DID EVERYBODY SEE THAT!!!! ITS THE GUY!!!!" Until I hear a report that they see some guy running out to his car wearing a ghillie suit, holding a Colt AR-15 and Simrad-LE7 Laser Range Finder... I'm not going to give the reports much credence.
