1962 body (mostly clean, except the passenger front fender) step side. 1978 f-150 frame. 6" lift. 35" les schwab specials. motor: 1976 460, well built. edelbrock performer manifold, 750 carb. less than 3000 miles. c-6 tranny rebuilt about 5 years ago. heavy duty electrical. all new everything under the hood. dana44 front, 9" rear. spent $2700 on the rear alone. 35 spline moser axles, strange nodular center, large bearing. 4.56 ratio detroit, four wheel disk brakes. kicking stereo, but needs a new cd player. everything has been overbuilt, its been sitting for over a year and fired up with no hesitation. paint is spraypaint over a good primer, to be honest, a good paintjob was way down on my list.
there are two project areas on this truck: the front axle need sto be re geared to match the new rear, as well as new wood/metal/whatever for the bed.
