Not knocking them at all because they've been great in fixing some issues I had with my combo box. That said, I paid for the turbo option and on a whim I clamped my amp probe on to "just check" and I was only pulling 21 amps cutting 1/2". After calling them they had me adjust a pot on one of the boards and got it to 27 amps. They spent close to an hour on the phone with me to make sure it was working to my satisfaction. They told me that there is a component installed and a calibration after they install it. The calibration had not been done on mine.
Like I said, no problems since and they've been great helping me, but doesn't hurt to check if you've paid for the upgrade. Clamp on meters are like $13 at Harbor freight if you'd like to check yours. Mine seems like it'll easily do 5/8" and I don't have anything thicker to try it on.

Anybody have a number that actually gets through to Parker metalworks? I have left messages twice for my Plasma 40 that hasn't worked since I got it out the box and haven't heard nothing from them. It wouldn't be so bad but these messages were a month apart with no response.

Every time I call them during business hours, they pick up the phone. Thats been my experience. Maybe they're just behind/ really busy?
