I under stand that older waggys had turbo 400 trans in them?
I`m getting a 79 with a AMC 360 in it does that trans have the same bolt up as a chevy with a adapter for the 360 ? and it has the F***ing fulltime junk is there a 6 bolt round adapter on the back end so I can junk the fulltime and bolt on a jeep 300 tranfer?

No, you can't. You can't bolt any Jeep tranny case, other than the Q-trac case, to that tranny without an adapter. Some waggys came with the TH400 and a D20 with a factory adapter, but if yours has the Q-trac (fulltime) case you are stuck...

You can however use the tailshaft and transfer case adapter out of a chevy t400 to bolt up a chevy transfer case like a 205 for example. DENNIS

I am going to be swapping out the DANA20 t-case from behind my TH400 in my FSJ Chero. IF you are seriously interested, lemme know. There are a few details about it that I am sure you might wanna hear about. I am not going to install it when I put in the TH400 cuz I am gonna be running the 203/205 doubler set-up.
