I need some info and I know I could go to the j. yard but someone knows this. I need a dana 60 right at or over 70" wms to wms whats it out of?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

UPDATE I meant the rear sorry, but I appreciate the info on the fronts as well. What my intentions are is to find the widest rear I could and cut the F.F. spindles off and weld on a set on new billet bearing cups to produce another (I did you prev. but I retubed it) semi float 40 spline rear without having to retube it, That is one mother of a BITCH. I might even be interested in Sandy Cones 46 spline axles I just need to find a housing that once the ends were cut off would produce a housing that the chunk was centered and the tubes were 55" to the ends. Once I add the bearing cups from mark williams they are 2" each would yeild a housing 59" end to end and with ford large ends have a axle standout of 2.500" each side would give me a axle 64" WMS to WMS

Thanks for your help Chris:smokin:

The scissor lift I used at work last week had a D60 ~84" wide. Spool too. :)

Chiscouter I emailed you about the axle I am interested in it . It looks like it may be a motorhome , van or, I noticed the majority of street sweepers have centered very wide axles easly in the 70" range, but with my luck non of the above I have access to
