i just got a killer deal on the HD husky 60 gal. air compressor. opened it up and cant really interpret the instructions on how to wire it up. the motor didnt have any blatent terminals or anything so i was just wondering where on the motor it hooks up. was painting all day so didnt have much time to look at it. any info would be appreciated.

power is connected in the relay box.

That looks like its just a pressure switch. The power to the motor runs through it. It looks like my old craftsman setup, there is no real relay action to it.
My big compressor has a starter relay that the pressure switch energizes to send power to the motor so the switch doesn't carry the load. Thats what I thought of when you said relay box.
Here is a pic. The relay is the box on the right side of the unit. You run the power to it on this type of setup. Other wise you run it to the pressure switch.
