what kind of powersteering lines do i need to use to get the fluid from the chevy pump to the jeep yj box? i tried the stock chevy ones and the return line leaks where it goes into the box, i can tighten the bolt all the way into the box, but the line is still lose so it leaks, what do i need to do <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0">

i used one from a s-10 blazer...like 87-92 i think....but i think jeep ones will work too.

the jeep steering box has a metric 18 hole...so look for that <IMG SRC="smilies/usa.gif" border="0">

Mine threaded right in... 90 YJ steering box, 92 Formula Firebird TPI305 pump and resevoir.

i have an agr yj box and the jeep lines worked for the agr chevy pump

If you do really serious wheeling .. have you considered putting a cooler on there too, while you are doing all this, it wouldn't be that much more.

ya guys thanks i got it figured out..my chevy lines hooked right up...the flare on the return was just messed up..i got a new chey return line...problem solved.....and ya i am gonna need a cooler i just dont know where in the hell to mount it...i already have an oilcooler and a winch in front of the radiator i dont want to block it anymore, and i have no fenders so i cant mount it on the inner fenerwell ohh well i guess i will try to find a good place for one.....any body got any good ideas with pics
