Is it bolted to the floor? Are you hearing the feet bouncing on the slab?

Its not bolted and it does this when it is running and not running. It only does this when using the air supply, IE air is being let past the regulator. If I turnr the regulator down to 70 PSI or so it gets gradually better.

Sometimes regulators will 'honk' depending on the pressures involved, mostly a crappy reg will do this.

our air system does this some times. i am not sure what it is but i just figured it was the plumbing resonating.

Why do you need a regulator on the compressor? I'd remove it or at least T in front of it and run unregulated air.
If you do need regulated air, then get a small regulator with a guage that mounts on the spray gun or whatever. If you're running impacts at 90 PSI, just realize they turn into a completely different animal above 110 or so PSI.
You can also adjust the pressure switch lower, but of course the compressor cycles more which can drive you nuts.

I only cranked up the pressure to test, I dont run my impacts above 90 psi.
Why? To regulate the pressure lol. Where else would I put it? I guess I could put the regulator after my dryer. Would it make that big of a difference?
