been trying to find some rotors for my 3/4 ton dodge D44 front. I don't really know what the axle came out of or what year it was made so i'm having a tuff time finding parts. The parts stores say dodge used drums up till 75 so i guess its newer than that and it came with flat tops on both sides so i guess it's older than 80. And the parts stores give me the option or HD brakes, 3500 pound axle and 4500 pound axle. And they say i can get a rotor, rotor and hub or just the hub. i know i need the rotor and from what i can tell the hub is press onto the rotor. really i just need to know what the axle came out of and whether its a 3500 or 4500 pound axle.
i found these numbers on it
to the right of the diff cover 44-8e
to the left of cover 620121r
can someone help me out. i looked on the dana expert website but i guess niether of those numbers are the bill of materials numbers.

I bet thet 44-8E is really a 44-8F also sounds like a 75-79 fulltime front axle and I would bet it is the 3500lb axle.. I think the 4500 lb axles were 60's..

It has locking hubs on it but from further searching i would agree that its the 3500 pound axle cause apparently dodge put 60's in some 3/4 tons with the big ass diesels. gonna try the autozone ones

ok, i have ordered and recieved both of the rotors that autozone had for a 79 3.4 ton dodge truck. they were both wrong. the 3500 pound axles hub hole was WAY to samll and the 4500's was about a 1/4 inch to small and wasn't as tall as my stock one. i called the stealership and they don't even make rotors for the 70's dodges.
WHAT THE HELL DO I DO ! i pulled these numbers off the rotor
102805
and WFM3
measurements are
12 13/16 across the whole rotor
8 5/16 on the raise part that the hub sits on
5 1/16 where the hub passes through the rotor
and the raised part of the rotor sits 2 1/16 tall
anyone have any ideas on how i can find a new rotor. it would really suck to order carparts.coms rotors or parts americas and wait 2 weeks and them be worng. they list the same options as autozone.
anyone know of a book with the measurements or rotors and part numbers?
i really need some help. big dogs is next weekend and i'd love to make it
thanks

cool, even if you can't get a pic if you could just break out a tape and take some measurements i could tell if its what i need. where did you get it? i have been looking for a 79 w200 which from what i know is the 3/4 ton 4x4 dodge truck in the 70's-80's
thanks

Have you tried looking up on the Dana BOM site?

This is it. Im gonna use it for my rear disc brake conversion. The D60 rear I have is 30spl & came form a 77/78 F250. The bearing hub will need a slight bit of clearancing around the outer edge to fit inside this hub. let me know if you need a better pic, I know this one is terrible.
Oh, & it does measure 12 3/4in
