im putting this on the for sale board too
scout 80 no rust (that ive seen) minimal body damage all glass is good has half cab top (but is an original full top truck, has back seat and no separator panel to the bed) spring over lift with new springs and bushings all interior is in tact guages handles etc. (no steering box but another one is included)brake lines need to be made (no rubber from when the soa was done) stock 4 cyl is in the back stock trans and transfer case are missing. rear is a later(scout 800 im assuming) d44 with factory posi ,gear ratio is unknown front is the factory d27 gear ratio also unknown.
To put this together i am including a 1984 dodge 318 and 904 car engine and tranny that was running when pulled and a chevy sm465 and 205 with the shifters and adapter i also have the bell housing to go from the 318 to the 465 but no clutch or flywheel
i dont have a title but the the plates that expired in 95 are still on the truck so it shouldnt be too hard to get one
$850 obo

Hello -
Just acquired a Scout 80 (think it's a 64???).
It doesn't have a distributer and I am looking to get one
as cheap as possible to try and get this thing turned over.
Would you happen to have one (or know of one) that you'd like to get rid of?

Youd have a buyer. One problem...I'm in Ohio.

I can hardly ever find any good 80 series close.

Still would like for you to post some pics.

Yes I want the distributer and yes it is the same scout you seen posted here. I am working on getting the title now since it was a abandoned vehicle (cant find the owner on the registration). The Scout needs quite a bit of attention. I will not do anything to it besides see if the motor will run until I get a title. Have you ever been through this process in Nevada and if so how did you go about it?

I don't know if you intend to part this out, but I would like to make you an offer on a door, (left or right) depending on the style of glass, and on the tailgate assembly.

Cheers,
:D
