Well this past weekend we finished putting a 95 S10 Blazer body on a 78 Bronco chassis.. (bronco body was rusted out)

So now the Blazer has a 44 front end, 9" rear, 205 transfer, 351, and a C6.. :D

Still need to get a few things hooked up and get it rolling, put the grill back in, some bumpers and some tires... and then lockers, propane, etc, etc :p

Just for a size comparison I'll include a photo of my truck and my friends Jeep that is sitting on 31s :)

And front axle,rear axle,engine,tranny,and tcase :flipoff2:

A 78 Bronco is way better drivetrain wise than a Blazer of the same year

I would like some 38.5 tires, but might end up with a set of 36 Iroks just because I can get a great deal on them..

I bought the Bronco because the guy only wanted $500 for it, (got it cheaper than that) and the drive train was good.. I was thinking of making a buggy out of it, but a friend had the Blazer body, and one weekend we just decided to try it...

I kind of like it, so I think it will stay for now, and just 4 link it, convert it to propane, add some lockers front and rear, and run it like it is for now..

Like the truck or not, I only have a total of $350 into the truck right now....
That's tough to beat :cool2:
