I am ready to get my first bender, I am sticking with a manual for now and
maybe upgrading it to power some time later. I will only be using it once in a while for small projects and probably redoing my cage. Which do I buy JD2 or Pro Tools?

The JD2 and Pro Tools HD are very similiar in features and price. You can't go wrong with either. That said, some say the Pro Tools HD is nicer because the bender arms are a little thicker and i guess the follower is nicer. I don't have any experience using either bender but i'm in the market myself for one so i've been doing a lot of research.

This helped me a lot deciding: http://www.offroadfabnet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1668

I've decided on the Pro Tools HD for myself, just waiting to get the cash to purchase it.
