This weekend on the Rubicon I sheared all the bolts on my E-Brake backing plate and broke the cable. SOR wants 63 for a new one, that seems a little excessive dose anybody have any other ideas or have on in good shape they would like to sell me?
One of the reasons I sheared the bolts I believe is because my drum is a little out of round and it grabbed last time I had it off Napa said they couldn't turn it has anybody had theirs turned?

I've got 2 parking brake cables in the garage. One is 45-1/2 inches overall length and has a hole for the attachment at the cab end, I belive it's from a '77 FJ40. The other is 61-1/4 inches overall length and has a "tee" for the attachment at the cab end, I believe it's from a '73 FJ55.

I'll check Specter's catalog and see if either will work for you. Do you have a '72 FJ40?
