I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport. When you roll the power driver door window up, it makes a grinding noise in the up position. I checked the motor, regulator and metal gear that drives the metal cable lowering and raising the window. Has anyone had this problem? The cable looks ok and the gear on the window motor/regulator look ok. However, it doesn't make any noise when rolled down. Any help much appreciated. Do I need the window motor/regulator assembly or the cable from motor to the window?

A window net would be a cool hardcore mod...

Remove the door panel and play doctor with a stethoscope to pinpoint the noise.

I still think the window net is the way to go...:flipoff2:
